Yellowheart, an intensely-yellow, exotic hardwood from Brazil, has been combined with Padauk, a fiery-red African hardwood, and the result is one spectacular piece of usable art.
A highly-polished, vintage, W. & S. Butcher blade, manufactured around 1852 in Sheffield, England, was chosen to reflect and mirror the intense colors present in this razor's hand-carved hardwood handle. Two layers of fine exotic hardwoods were precisely shaped and combined to create a piece of quality and unmatched uniqueness.
All hardware is polished brass and blade has been restored and is shipped shave ready, meaning it can be used to shave right out of the package. Finished with a water-resistant linseed oil treatment for added protection, this beauty should provide a lifetime of use and enjoyment.
